The United Nations estimates that more than 100,000 people have been killed since the Syrian conflict began in March 2011. By March 2013, the UNHCR announced that the number of refugees had risen to 1.2 million. Right now, an approximate number of 10,000 people are crossing the borders everyday. This number continues to climb higher as the days roll by.

On November 4th, WorldHarvest visited Lebanon in order to help 85 families in the Syrian Refugee camps. There were hundreds refugees spread across the farming lands in Becaa Valley. During the day, some would help local farmers as volunteer laborers, but most were left without jobs.
