The Frontline Generation Band was birthed in the year 1999. The Band started out with a group of young people from a small Indonesian church in Seattle, WA that was desperately praying and seeking the face of God for their nation, Indonesia.

Since that time of consecrated prayer, God brought about a true spirit of repentance and a burning desire to diligently seek His face. The given focus of Frontline Generation was to preach through a message of holiness and prayer; and to pray for a new sweep of revival throughout the world.

God gave the group a verse from “Isaiah 66:8” that become the core of Frontline Generation. “Can a nation be born in one day or a country be brought forth in a moment?” God put a vision in the group members’ hearts, to be a voice in the wilderness, to unite and to mobilize this generation to live for the Glory of God; to live in the frontline of God’s divine movement and to be an impact to the nations.

In 2002, Frontline Generation along with Michael Chrisdion as the group’s leader had the privilege of recording their first album in the Indonesian language titled: “Lawatan KudusMu”. The CD consists of songs of intercession and songs which proclaim God’s grace to this generation.

In Summer 2003, Frontline Generation joined World Harvest as a touring band and carried on concert tours that consisted of ministering in 8 major cities and 4 different islands in Indonesia. The concert tour blessed hundreds of thousands of people throughout Indonesia. Since then, Frontline Generation has partnered with World Harvest to be a spokesman for its vision and mission for the world.

In May 2005, Frontline Generation recorded their 2nd album titled: “A Nation is Born”. In March 2008, they recorded their 3rd album titled: “R(EVOL)UTION”.

All of their albums were recorded with the purpose of proclaiming a visionary message to generations worldwide; a message of encouragement toward prayer, and mobilization through fervent prayer for awakening, renewal and a call to purity.

In conclusion, Frontline Generation is not about the personnel, music, or the band. Frontline Generation is about being a prophetic voice for God; for this generation to heed the call of deployment to win the nations to God’s cause! It’s a call to abandon small ambitions, in order to take up a global challenge. It’s a call for an anesthetized generation to rise in urgency and carry the rugged cross to the ends of the earth.

Frontline Generation represents a group of young men and women, who realize that unless they possess a cause worth dying for, they have nothing that is worth living for. It is a rallying cry to leave the comfortable and predictable, and venture into the fray—of the FRONTLINE!!!!
