HARVEST HUMANITARIAN SERVICES

Dr. Mitch Duininck, World Harvest medical volunteer, examines a patient.
World Harvest positions itself globally to provide emergency aid for areas hit with devastating natural disasters—famines, earthquakes, hurricanes, fires, floods, etc. Above and beyond rendering aid to disaster hit areas, we position ourselves to assist people and survivors in conflict ravished regions, while establishing self-provision programs for their communities to sustain themselves upon our departure. World Harvest does not just believe in affixing a bandage, World Harvest believes in healing the wound!

Through the Harvest Humanitarian Services, World Harvest provides special “HCD Teams” of specialized medical, dental, and family experts to underprivileged regions. Through the humanitarian services, World Harvest also works on rehabilitating hospitals, schools, and community infrastructure.

Testimony from Richard Dutch (Volunteer in Yogyakarta): “Needless to say, this was a very emotional trip for me as I could not believe the devastation that occurred, the medical treatment that still needed to be provided, and yet, the attitude of the Indonesian people was unbelievably positive, optimistic and friendly. I have never experienced such a wide range of emotions in such a short amount of time.”
