Educational Services

Dr. Cook (Biola University), Dr. Oentoro (HITS), Dr. Kim (Handong Global University)

World Harvest strives to develop and equip future leaders with integrity and the necessary knowledge and skill sets to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving world. These leaders will be prepared to be transformational leaders in the places of their service.

World Harvest is committed to developing people by creating and equipping the best leaders, through non-formal (seminars) and formal (schools) education tracks. World Harvest sees education as a key to transforming individuals into effective leaders. One method of building leaders is through the Harvest International Curriculum (known in Japan as ISOM), a leadership training program.

World Harvest has opened Leadership Schools in Indonesia, Korea, Japan and Pakistan. To date, more than 1,395 men and women have graduated from this program. In Indonesia, World Harvest’s Undergraduate and Graduate programs at the Harvest International Theological Seminary (HITS) have been strengthened by the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with Handong Global University in Korea, Regent University, and Biola University in the United States. World Harvest is currently on its way to establishing a “General” University, which is already in session with the opening of STIMIK (Harvest College of Information Management and Computers).

  4. World Harvest expanded its education services in 2006 through opening the Harvest College of Information Management and Computers (STIMIK). World Harvest took over the management of STIMIK Kuwera in April 2006. Under new management, STIMIK has since been officially accredited by the Indonesia Department of Education.

World Harvest has sponsored 1900 children in poor communities in Greater Jakarta and Central Java; funding their education and regularly providing medical check-ups, vitamins and tutoring.

Testimonial

“One of the basic needs of spiritual leaders is to continue learning and developing themselves in order to keep their leadership skills relevant in order to grow an organization. However, the main obstacle to learning and developing ourselves are the limitations of time and place. HITS’s off-campus graduate program is an answer to such problems and I am very blessed by the program.”

Alex Djuang Papay, STh
Mission Pastor of BIC Bangkok, Thailand

Harvest International Curriculum (HIC) is one of the best ways to increase the number of human resources - servants of God - who want to be leaders and workers in the Lord's harvest field during this age. Through HIC, we provide free "Bible School in a Box" programs for the churches with an intended goal of raising thousands of pastors, missionaries, workers for the great harvest within a 10 year period.
